Course overview
The use of a standardized measurement system for tongue range of motion is crucial for consistency across providers. Participants were shown the research supporting the TRMR and collaboratively completed the ratio with sample measurements from real patients. Difficult cases were reviewed and the need for objective measurement plus functional data from a trial of therapy ahead of release was discussed.

The Myo Munchee is an adjunct tool used to improve the functional strength of the masseters while promoting jaw growth and nasal breathing. Participants were shown the different sizes and ages for implementation into their myofunctional therapy programs and how to use the Munchee for children not old enough for myofunctional therapy.
